Anonymous was a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We chartered her for two weeks in Athens in 2002, when she was about two years old.

For some reason I have always likes the feel of Jeanneau yachts. We did our day skipper in a Sunsail Sun Fast 36 in the Solent and I had also done a few corporate race days on them.

This boat was a little bigger than the Sun Fast 36, less racy with creature comforts like furling and of course this model had wheel steering.

We didn't have too many issues with this boat. The sail ripped a little of the sun protection when we were too slow reefing and the glass in the oven door exploded. I'm guessing something had been dropped on it at some point and it was just waiting to break.

Med mooring!

Our experience with this boat probably helped later inform our decision to buy our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39 Deck Saloon Bella.
